A new House Judiciary Committee report alleges that New York City district attorneys have been reducing criminal charges against illegal immigrants to help them avoid deportation. The report also reveals that the NYPD received 9,645 ICE detainer requests between July 2025 and June 2026, but honored ZERO of them. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin responded to the findings, criticizing NYC’s sanctuary policies.
